Mt. Lemmon ride

One of the most spectacular rides in Arizona is the twisty Mt. Lemmon road east of Tucson. It features lots of curves and breathtaking scenery. Because It's a favorite of 3160ers, we try to do it every year. If you haven't ridden it yet, prepare yourself for a long, fun day.

Head Road Captain Lee Gipe will lead the ride this year. We'll make our way to and through Tucson, up the Mt. Lemmon road to the vacation resort town of Summerhaven near the top, then back down and ultimately end up at Bubb's Grub in Catalina for a mid-afternoon meal. You do not have to go all the way to Bubb's Grub, in fact some may want to spend a night in Tucson - jet let the ride leader know.

Meet at HDOS at 8:30am for route and safety briefing. KSU is 9am. Westside KSU is being worked on...stay tuned.
